Teteringen (Breda North-East) has been part of the municipality of Breda since 1997. The center has a large square with various shops. There is also a shopping center with a bakery, three butchers and a supermarket. You will also find a health center and a socio-cultural center in this former 'village'. There are three primary schools and one secondary school (since 2007). In the sporting field, Teteringen offers various options due to the presence of a: Football Club, Tennis Club, Swimming Pool, Hockey Club and a Golf Club. When it comes to 'green', Teteringen also has plenty to offer. This 'village' borders on the 'forests' Galgeveld and the Teteringse heide. Furthermore, it is nice to note that you can still see a number of real old farms in Teteringen; the oldest are the Hofsteden, which were built between 1600 and 1850. Teteringen has approximately 6,700 inhabitants.
